Overview
Kèr Vè Gijzuw was founded durring the late 10th century, by Cóch Béchīs 'Stella Lena' Vúó̄y Māshīy Mpfē̌s Hooley. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Cóch Béchīs 'Stella Lena' Vúó̄y Māshīy Mpfē̌s Hooley.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Vè Gijzuw is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of restrictive cobblestone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Kèr Vè Gijzuw's size could have. The well-designed, yet cheep have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
Looking around Kèr Vè Gijzuw you immediately realise that the locals are looking back at you. All of them. Everywhere you look somone is staring back at you analytically, looking over every inch of you, your gear, and your companions. As you get close to people, their hands move closer to their belt knife, or dagger. You may want to watch where you go and what you say...

Kèr Vè Gijzuw has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Kèr Vè Gijzuw.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw has a Department of Firefighters, which is responsible for organizing fire fighting efforts during a fire and enforcing local ordinances relating to fire safety.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Kèr Vè Gijzuw's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Kèr Vè Gijzuw's grid is powered by mana accumulators.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Kèr Vè Gijzuw's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.
Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is skipped in Kèr Vè Gijzuw.
The Mercane near Kèr Vè Gijzuw are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Kèr Vè Gijzuw's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves creating small tokens to channel Transmutation energies of tier 1 via mimery.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Suffering Range, an iconic vista located neare Kèr Vè Gijzuw, proved to be volcanic when the range erupted. The eruption was isolated to the area around Kèr Vè Gijzuw, which was swallowed in ash, lava flows, and pyroclastic gasses. Kèr Vè Gijzuw lost 102 people, 399 livestock, and 85 buildings in the disaster. The event is forever remembered as the Day of Suffering's Wrath.
